pirates of Puranas
Till the realms of interest in
mythology stays as mythical, it is a pure life line in elements of righteousness
and virtues
But reading through TinTin
like different picture of the thought ,it only becomes fun”
Too many years ago, there was a
beautiful place called bharat. It was. Full
of high piles of riches and wealth .If it brings some meaning, then it means we
see the story begin with pirates, captain cook and the good men who put the pirates
to rock in such agony and pain. You are kind of wishing to see them defeated
and the distant sailors return to their own homeland. Go your way to hook on
fun!!
Chapter-1
Kings and their kinds
Our own Puranas has been the
treasure and pleasure for us to unfold here the surprises and twists. Most long
ago, there was a beautiful land called Bharat. It was full of riches in
precious gems, gold and cattle.
This land was ruled by king
Pandu. He was a very weak king, and could not rule the kingdom righteously. His
brother Dritharashtra also was weak in his vision, and could also not rule well.
Both these kings had children who were strong and weak in their armour and
intelligence.Pandu’s sons were the Pandavas and Duryodhana ‘s sons were the
Kauravas.
Arjuna and Yudhisthira were
good in armour and intelligence, but Duryodhana and Dushasana, sons of Dritharashtra
were neither good in both. Indeed, these are the two team of players who played the game of dice. –both
in the game and war. The Duryodhana team were huge in number, the Kauravas 100.
The Pandavas were merely 5, but they were much efficient in archery and
strength.
Usually, pirates looting from
a land are strangers to the sailors, but in this story the pirates are from the
same clan. . This makes it clear that good and evil both can exist among kith
and kings too. The cousins were the enemies in the whole story.
A good friend, as a good man,
can be of great help to you at all times, and here too, Karna was the soulmate
for Duryodhana and he was always grateful to his friend, throughout his life.
Chapter-2
Arjuna’s Avenger-Lord Krishna
When we see the fight between
good and evil, there is the presence of wisdom in our mind – our deep
conscience, the Lord himself.. Arjuna too believed in it and accepted The
Avenger as Lord Krishna, a lovely cowherd once, a mighty warrior of Mathura
later on.
Moving on leaning towards
Dharma, bearing the fruit of one’s actions, Lord Krishna proved to be a good
friend, a powerful minister- vishwadhata- The universal leader. His affection
towards Arjuna was same as that of Karna- Mighty warriors turn out as friends
forever in the story, in the war for victory.
Chapter-3
Astounding Bravery
Again and again, when we
understand that there is always a hide and seek between good and evil, we are
seeing only enmity and hatred. However, the two teams were brave in their own
spirit- to win and rejoice. A small example of a strong prince called Bheema,
who plays a major role, as the brother of
Arjuna. Once, during a daring fight, it turned out to be very
revengeful, that Dushasana , threw Bheema into the river. Bheema was the man,
with the power of thousand elephants and none could ever beat him in a tussle,
This was the reason, where the Kauravas handled wrong means to defeat him, and
throw him into the deep ocean, in an unconscious state. The nymph king, of he
deep ocean, saved him and brought him back to life. We come to know that the vengeance,
started turning into a huge tree.. Bheema was astounding in his bravery, and
helped the Pandavas win the war.
Chapter-4
Il-mannered Duryodhana and his
malicious tricks
When Bheema was strong in his
power to destroy the bad people, Duryodhana always used his brain to come up
with evil plans, being an insult to others.Once, he brought a gift of huge heap
of gold ornaments and sent it to Arjuna through the messenger. However, Arjuna
was clever, and he did not believe in his love. It turned out to be fake, and
there were iron tools hidden in the treasure box. He had various ideas to kill
Pandavas by poisoning them or trying to burn them alive.
Chapter-5
New war to fight
As it was growing in
bitterness and hared against the cousins, a new war was sown seed- a fight to
win the kingdom of Hastinapur which was ruled by Yudhishtra. After Pandu’s
death, he was the next crown prince – However, Duryodhana, had his uncle,
Shakuni, who always flamed the enmity , in the palace. He was himself a very
treacherous, cunning man, who alwYs wanted to destroy the Pandavas, and make
his nephew happy.New war was triggered as a thought in Duryodhana’s mind- He
sowed the seed of greed in his angry brain. A game of dice , was what he invited
the Pandavas for. They agreed to play and in their arrogance forgot to consult
the experts and elders, about the tricks of the game.
The day came where they played
it opposite the Kauravas. They lost their wealth and cattle. The evil man
Captain Cook, of the pirates team, Shakuni insulted them and teased them to
lose their kingdom as a bet. A game of dice, is all about bet and chance, and they
lose it again. The story has other characters too. But I focus on the pirates
and sailors alone, who are the players in the game and war too.
Chapter-5
Good over evil- who is strong?
Naïve good nature, is always
very painful, but once that becomes wise good nature, it brings victory. Moreover,
when Simply honest Yudhishtra, mighty Arjuna , never defeated Bheema, get
acquainted with Lord Krishna, they were becoming strong to be the winner. They
could see the possibility of analysing the situation and finding solution to
problems much easily.
Chapter-6
Row of Giants as Gladiators
Arjuna, becomes the Gladiator,
the elegant Kshatriya- knight adorned. Must be anyone wants to know his talent,
it is about archery, his interest and sharp focus in bow and arrow. Arjuna was
a genius in shooting his target, as the incomparable soldier. The most
intelligent prince, of the pandava clan was Sahadeva, who was an immensely
brilliant man in art, science , maths and astrology too. The most handsome was
the prince, Nakula. Thus the pandava team was complete in their abilities and
strengths.
Then, the giants were, none
but the Kauravas , they were greedy and wanted to conquer the kingdom as a
whole. They were filled with anger and fury, and hence did a lot of activities which
were unjust. They tried to fool them with unfair play and made them feel lost
and defeated.
That game of dice, which
started as a gambling place, ended with fear and danger, for the Pandavas, who
were thrown away from their own kingdom, and asked to go through n exile for
many long years.
Chapter-7
Mean forest, weary travellers
Just as living in the forest
is wild, travelling in dark woods, is weary and tiresome. The Pandavas armoured
only hunger and thirst in the journey throughout. Still, they had the grit of
power in body and mind , which made them strong and bold to face any threats. In
the voyage, sailors sail in rough sea, and similarly in dense forest, the
princes has rough terrain to walk and rough lands to rest. Man learns a lot
about life when he is put to test. When the tides are high, even the smallest
fish learns to swim fast. Now, the Pandavas, became vigilant and careful to
attack the enemies.
Chapter-8
Game Ground to a battlefield-
A bid leap
Wanderers, as nomads, the
Pandavas prepared to face the pirates in the battlefield-The Kurukshetra. Artillery,
gallantry, soldiers were seen in huge numbers and the battle was full of
vengeance and revenge. There was no place for bangles or sarees, no women were
allowed. That is s when I said there are few people not in the team, not in my
interest. As the battle began, there was pool of bloodshed and wailing sounds. The
Pandavas took the guidance of the Lord Krishna himself, and they were secured
in their attack. The Kauravas had the help of experts, elders, and their own
kins, around 100. But, they were still insecured. The simple playground became
a battlefield, all because of greed and ill feeling against each other.Navigating
sailors became the fighting soldiers, and the captain cook was Shakuni, who lead
the pirates team. The clever captain was the most efficient and affectionate
Lord himself.
Chapter-9
Loss of life-victory against
pirates
Away from all near and dear,
they fought the war. Lives were lost, and there was pain and suffering all over.
At last, after 18 days , war ended. Evil pirates were killed, and the sailors
got their homeland back. The happy Pandavas, got back to the kingdom of
Hastinapur.
Chapter-10
Pirates- Gone with war, evil
still exists
This story ends with a rather
puzzled ending. Kauravas were killed bury there was evil still in the family of
Pandavas forever for many generations. Dear friends, remember pirates are
forever in every story, where there is greed and loot on other’s property and
lives. Evil exists in all of us and there exists the mighty warrior too- a good
blend of acumen, strength, intelligence, and intellect. Nurture them and stay
blessed in the glory of wisdom- the Lord Krishna, as the manifest himself.
